How Accurate is the AI Scribe?
Scriberapp is built on a medical-domain speech recognition and language model that has been trained and evaluated on a
diverse set of clinical specialties.
Transcription accuracy
In controlled evaluations, Scriberapp achieves word error rates below 5% for standard clinical vocabulary in quiet
environments. Accuracy may decrease with heavy background noise, strong accents, or highly specialized terminology.
Note quality
The AI structures transcribed content into the chosen note template. Providers report that, on average, fewer than 15%
of generated sentences require substantive edits before sign-off. That figure improves further as the model personalizes
to individual provider phrasing over time.
Review is always required
Scriberapp generates draft notes. Every note must be reviewed and signed by a licensed clinician before being finalized
in the medical record. The AI output is a productivity tool, not a substitute for clinical judgment.
Improving accuracy
- Use a clip-on lapel microphone or a quality headset for best results.
- Speak procedure codes, medication names, and dosages clearly and at a moderate pace.
- Use the correction feedback feature to flag errors — this improves your personal model.
